Travel and ivermectin: One client’s story

The following is a story one of our Harmova Health clients shared on their experience with travelling abroad, and how they overcame an illness by using ivermectin. We are grateful they have shared it with us, as we feel it will help many others who are travelling this season. Our client chose to stay anonymous.

“I haven’t been to another country other than Canada in well over ten years. Travelling is certainly not what it used to be, especially since 911 and after the ‘plandemic’, so I felt a little apprehensive about what to expect.

I have been taking ivermectin annually as an effective parasite detox (plus it’s so good for my arthritis), as well as taking it as a prophylactic against the common flu and cold, for a few years, and I have found that as soon as I start to feel a scratchy throat, I take 1 or 2 tablets (12mg) a day for a few days and it’s gone! It’s been a Godsend!

This time, a necessary trip to a family funeral in South America was imminent, so, just in case, I packed a few ivermectin tablets in a travel pack and went on my way. I thought just a few would be sufficient “just in case” because, as you know, we all get sick on the airplane with stagnant air.

The trip was wonderful — except for bad fish I consumed at a local roadside restaurant. That night, I felt exhausted and my stomach started rumbling like I had not heard and felt in ages. And then, oh no… travel diarrhea!

I fought it for the next day with rest, fluids, gentle soups as they typically recommend, and it just did a number on me because I felt completely and utterly exhausted. So I decided to visit a local clinic and see what the doctor could help me with.

At the clinic, I was surprised at the doctor’s advice: something here in Canada no doctor would typically recommend! His advice was:

• don’t eat anything raw for 3 days. No fruit, no cold vegetables, and only soups and mild meals (meaning, no spices, which I love!). He told me to eat small meals, sparingly and to listen to my body.
• he prescribed me a probiotic and a digestive enzyme. Unbelievable! Which doctor here in Canada would possibly prescribe these? As I have found they typically give you medications like Imodium, Pepto-Bismol, Lomitil and even antibiotics.
• last but not least, he prescribed – you guessed it! – ivermectin! He said it works wonderfully and to take a few drops (because there it’s typically found in liquid form), three times per day. My jaw dropped! Unbelievable!

This form of ivermectin was much milder but with a higher dose. I wasn’t a big fan of it being liquid because I knew that liquid ivermectin has polysorbate 80 and other petro-derived toxins, but I had run out of mine so this worked for now.

I asked the doctor how often he prescribes it for a stomach upset like this, and he replied, “quite often, it’s a great medication that works fast without side effects. Especially for foreigners who are always eating off the street and getting stomach illnesses!” He said they don’t even typically do a stool sample because it’s irrelevant: ivermectin just works.

I went on my way and did as he suggested, and honestly, within two hours I felt 50% better! I rested, slept all night, and the next day I proceeded with my plans like nothing had happened.

I had to share this story because I agree with the doctor: ivermectin just works. It worked for me, and I think that anyone who is travelling to another country should carry it in a travel pack as I did, “just in case”.
