Ivermectin cream in Canada: FAQs answered

As Canada’s most trusted quality provider of Ivermectin tablets and creams for human use, as well as other antiparasitics such as Fenbendazole and Mebendazole, we receive many questions with regards to these products and their usage.

Harmova Health ivermectin cream in Canada

Here are our some of the most commonly asked questions:

  1. What can ivermectin be used to treat?
As described in detail in this previous post on ivermectin and its many uses, ivermectin is best known as an antiparasitic medication. Research is ongoing, yet it is being successfully used for various neuroinflammatory diseases like MS (multiple sclerosis), certain forms of encephalitis and traumatic brain injuries.

It’s also commonly used for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, lupus, and IBS (inflammatory bowel disease), as well as various respiratory and allergic inflammatory illnesses (asthma, allergic rhinitis, COPD, bronchitis, etc.).

Ivermectin cream also works well topically for rosacea, atopic dermatitis (eczema), acne vulgaris (acne), allergic contact dermatitis, and cutaneous lupus, as well as other benefits such as ivermectin cream for lice.

The most revolutionary success is being seen by those affected with various cancers and cancer-associated inflammation.
  2. Where can I buy ivermectin in Canada? Can I buy it through Shoppers Drug Mart?
Clients are welcomed to purchase ivermectin in Canada through Harmova Health (our website) shop [HERE], without the requirement of a prescription. We suggest booking a consultation with our team so they may suggest an appropriate dosage and usage, to maximize its benefits.

You may book a consultation through this link, [HERE]:

At this time, local pharmacies such as Shoppers Drug Mart and PharmaPlus or Costco pharmacies do not allow the sale of ivermectin in Canada. We believe this will eventually change, as it’s inevitable since so many are seeing remarkable curable benefits, but at this time it’s limited to private sale.
  3. Where can I buy ivermectin cream in Canada and the US?
We are pleased to offer a high-quality ivermectin cream in Canada on our shop [HERE]. Our cream is an innovative, high-dosage cream that does not use the typical inexpensive synthetic ingredients that you’d typically find through shops on India online stores. Our ingredients are all nature-derived and sourced, highly effective, and high-quality. Cheap ingredients such as synthetics have been replaced with plant-derived silicone alternatives, emulsifiers pass the Ecocert/COSMOS certifications, and preservatives avoid the use of formeldahyde-formers such as phenoxyethanol, by replacing them with naturally-accepted formulations.
  4. Can I leave ivermectin cream on overnight?
Yes, you may safely leave the ivermectin cream on your skin overnight as the ingredients are not toxic to your body or the environment. We suggest applying the cream 2-3 hours before bedtime so your body has a chance to properly absorb its benefits and so it doesn’t get removed by rubbing against sheets or pillowcases. In the morning, simply rinse off with water and repeat the application as needed.
  5. Can I apply makeup overtop ivermectin cream?
Yes you may apply makeup overtop of our specialized ivermectin cream, although we suggest waiting an hour (at minimum) after application, before following with your foundation. Applying foundation immediately after application of the ivermectin cream can impede your body’s absorption of the active (ivermectin), as foundation is typically formulated as an occlusive.
  6. Can I apply sunscreen overtop ivermectin cream?
We do not recommend applying sunscreen overtop of ivermectin cream, as sunscreen is occlusive and its ingredients can render the ivermectin active useless. We suggest that if you are going outdoors, defer from applying ivermectin cream if you plan on using sunscreen. If you feel you require sunscreen, we suggest wearing at hat instead, and/or applying the ivermectin cream on your skin at night when you have washed the sunscreen off your skin.
  7. Can you absorb ivermectin through your skin?
Yes, ivermectin is absorbed through the skin. While the skin is semi-permeable due to the stratum corneum (outermost layer of the skin) acting as a protective barrier, it will still allow small, oil-soluble molecules to pass through. Ivermectin is mostly oil-soluble and it is formulated by dissolving it in combination with oils, esters and other delivery systems, and the skin is oil-loving which is how the active is useful to treat affected areas.

Absorbability and effectiveness of ivermectin cream depends not only on the delivery of the active (ivermectin) and on the formulation as a whole, but also on skin condition. Damaged skin due to abrasions, eczema, and psoriasis, for example, drastically reduces absorption rates and effectiveness, requiring longer periods of time for its benefits to be seen.
  8. How long does it take to see results from using ivermectin cream on the skin?
The effectiveness of any medication depends on many factors, including:
    – how the medication has been formulated and its effective delivery system
    – the health of the skin, as damaged skin will take longer to turn over to new cells and death/release of old cells
    – body location: the skin is thinner in areas like the face, scalp and groin area, while thicker in hands, feet, and elbows.

Typically – on healthier skin – cell turnover is approximately 28 days. For this reason, we recommend using ivermectin cream for at least 28 days to begin to see its benefits, and longer periods of time to ensure the issue has been cleared thoroughly.

We also recommend continuing use of ivermectin cream every six months as a preventive.
  9. Can children use ivermectin cream?
Yes, with caution. Ivermectin cream can be effectively used in babies and young children depending on the location of their body, to ensure they will not be consuming it. If the area to treat is in reach of children’s mouth, ie: hands or arms, or face, we suggest a parent apply it and caution be taken for the first 3 hours to ensure it will not be accidentally ingested by licking these areas.

Ivermectin will not “harm” a child at the relatively low dose included in the cream, however, since children are actively growing their immune system from the time they are born, we suggest proceeding with caution.

Unlike for adults, we do not recommend babies and children use ivermectin cream more often than once per day.
  10. Is a farm or horse paste ivermectin cream or gel as effective as one specifically made for humans?
We do not recommend using medications made for animals, as these are formulated for different skin absorbability and digestion processes, and their excipients are not accepted in humans (may pass the blood-brain barrier).
